Texas Lemon Law Consumer Information and Resolution Assistance

I bought a car from someone 2 weeks ago and they left out details about the car and its put me in a bind in a number of ways. The car threw a rod and has left me unable to even get back to the city I moved to. I’m in texas for the record

Bought a Dodge Avenger 2010 a year ago from a respectable dealership. The past 6 months I have experience key ignition problem, first shop replaced battery and starter. one month later same problem I took it to the dealership and was given a new key, one week later same problem.
Im in good standing with finance company never missed a payment. I have been told that they are not able to get me into another car due being so upside down. I don’t think that that I need to put anything down for another car. I don’t think I need to run my credit for a different car. I will go as high as possible and involve the media. This is wrong or am I screwed…?? Thanks for your help

I bought a 2010 Kia Forte SX on November 7th, 2011. I am having what I think is transmission issues (hard shift from 1st to 2nd gear, it is an automatic) I have been to the dealership once about 2 weeks ago and they replaced the brake switch, I thought maybe it would work but a couple of days later it started doing it again but a little worse. It doesn’t do it EVERY time so maybe that’s why. I’ve heard a transmission issue is a b**** to diagnose. Anyways my question here is I live in Texas, and I know after multiple attempts to fix one issue (I heard 4
Attempts) then they have to give you a new car. Not exactly sure how this works. Do they give you any car with the same value as your vehicle? New year? Or same year as you have? Also my car has 39,000 miles (personally I think it’s a lot for a 2010.) and the warranty is up at 60k. I read that for the lemon law it’s 2 years after original purchase or 24,000 miles whichever comes first so mine wouldn’t apply. This will be only my 2nd time going in there but what if I keep having the same issue since my car is apparently not qualifying for the lemon law, am I screwed? Are there any other laws for used vehicles?

I got the car in 2009 still owe on it and no longer covered by warranty. Have had problem after problem.

OMG, I finally found a product that really, really works to actually get rid of the fish odor in fridge and bad smelling ice in freezer. I’ve tried baking soda, lemons, and just about everything else. You’ve got to try this – FRIDGE IT odor absorbers. It’s a little purple cube odor absorber and IT REALLY WORKS.
Does anyone know if I can use for other areas too. I’d like to try in my car which has a strong pet odor, etc. Anyone else use this product?
I just checked with company and they said the product actually works great in cars. Recommended putting one in car and also in trunk. They also have a product that is made just for cars called auto odor eliminator. I just ordered a dozen direct from company – very easy! Thanks for replies.
